Joanne Gillis-Donovan, Ph.D.

Joanne Gillis-Donovan, is President and CEO Emeritus of Melmark, a private, not-for-profit provider of comprehensive residential, educational, vocational, and healthcare services for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, brain injury, other neurological and genetic disorders, and related challenging behaviors.  She came to her position in Melmark in 1996 with 30 years of experience in health care, clinical psychology/family therapy, and organizational development.

Dr. Gillis-Donovan joined the Board of Directors of Ken's Krew in 2015.

Pamela Goldman

Pamela Goldman serves as vice president at Invemed Associates, LLC, an investment bank run by Ken's Krew co-founder Ken Langone.

Ms. Goldman joined the Board of Directors of Ken's Krew in 2003.

Joshua Landes

Joshua Landes has co-managed Wynnefield Partners Small Cap Value L.P. since its inception in 1992. From 1984 to 1991 he was employed at Lazard Fréres & Co. where he served as a trading assistant, analyst and institutional equity salesman in the capital markets group and as an associate at Lazard Realty.

Mr. Landes is involved with numerous charitable causes and sits on the boards of two Jewish day schools.

Mr. Landes joined the Board of Directors of Ken's Krew in 2004.

Tony Lemma

Tony Lemma,  joined The Home Depot in March, 1995 and is currently Regional Vice President, New York Metro Region, Northern Division.  He is responsible for the operations of over 70 stores, which includes stores in New York City, Long Island, Connecticut and New Jersey.

Tony brings a wealth of knowledge with him, and has worked in the Philadelphia markets, Washington, DC, and NJ Metro. Since 1995 he has held the positions of: Sales Associate, Department Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager, District Manager, and recently RVP of the NJ Metro Region.

Prior to joining The Home Depot, Tony served in the United States Navy for eight years and the United States Air Force for one year. During his career in the military he was awarded two Navy Achievement medals. Before being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1995, he served as 1st Class Petty Officer.

Mr. Lemma joined the Board of Directors of Ken's Krew in 2016.

Dottie McGilvery, Treasurer

Dottie McGilvery is the Vice President of Practice Administration at RTI, Inc., the billing subsidiary of EmCare, Inc. She is responsible for providing practice support to EmCare physicians, management and hospital clients, including revenue results for 400 emergency room practices in 40 states.

Prior to joining the organization in 2008, Ms. McGilvery held a variety of senior financial and operational positions with health care and health insurance companies including Jefferson Health System, Independence Blue Cross and CIGNA. For seven years prior to that time, Ms. McGilvery served as an audit manager at Ernst & Young.

Ms. McGilvery joined the Board of Directors of Ken's Krew in 2011.

Sharon O'Brien, Secretary

Sharon O'Brien has been a parent advocate for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities since the birth of her daughter Caitlyn. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress and Noble of Indiana, a supported employment nonprofit.

Ms. O'Brien joined the Board of Directors of Ken's Krew in 2004.


Michael and Constance Solomon, Parent Founders

Michael Solomon is the Managing Principal of Gladwyne Partners, LLC, a private equity fund manager. Prior to founding Gladwyne Partners in July 1998, Mr. Solomon was affiliated with Lazard Fréres & Co. LLC. Mr. Solomon joined Lazard in 1981 and was a Partner from 1983 through his departure in 1998. At Lazard, Mr. Solomon founded and managed the Equity Sales, Trading and Research Department from 1981 through 1989. At that time Mr. Solomon joined the Banking Group where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and financings in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Lazard, Mr. Solomon was a Vice President of Morgan, Stanley & Co. Mr. Solomon currently serves and has previously served on numerous other public and private company boards.

Connie Solomon served as Executive Director of Ken's Kids, Inc. from 1999 to 2009. She served for 18 years as a financial editor in the New York research departments of Kidder, Peabody & Co., Loeb Rhoades, & Co., Merrill Lynch & Co., and for the last eight of those years as an officer and Editor in Chief of Equity Research for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. Mrs. Solomon has also served on various nonprofit boards, including the Association in Manhattan for Autistic Children, the Gesu School in Philadelphia, and Melmark, Inc. in Berwyn, PA. She was also a founding board member of the Cooke Foundation for Special Education in New York City.

Mr. and Ms. Solomon joined the board in 1998.

Caitlyn O'Brien

Caitlyn O'Brien graduated from the LABBB Collaborative at Bedford High School in Bedford, MA in 2004. After graduation, she started working as an associate at The Home Depot in Frazer, PA with the help of Ken's Krew. She continues to be a valuable associate at the store.

Ms. O'Brien is also an athlete with Special Olympics and a member of Best Buddies.

Ms. O'Brien joined the Board of Directors of Ken's Krew in 2004.
